Lenten Devotions

Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the many blessings you have provided, and especially thank You for the Bon Air Christian Church family.
Please grant us the proper mindset during these forty days to reflect upon our lives and remember the suffering that Jesus endured in order to grant us everlasting life. We need your help to enable us to escape from our busy lives and find quiet times to meditate and draw closer to You.
We ask that you bless the less fortunate brothers and sisters as they struggle to survive the cold winter season. Bless those that suffer from loneliness, depression, feelings of guilt and mental anguish, and grant them relief from within. Bless the sick and bring them healing.
Bless our country and those serving in the military to protect us from our enemies. Please guide our leaders as the world changes and conflicts arise.
We ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.
