Section I. To promote Christian fellowship in the Bon Air community and throughout the world.

Section II. To win people to faith in Jesus Christ, as revealed in the New Testament, and commit them actively to the church, to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ that they may increasingly know and do His will and to work for the unity of all Christians and with them engage in the common task of building the Kingdom of God.

Section I. Baptism in the Church shall be by immersion of a believer in Christ, thus symbolizing for the believer his death to sin, his burial with Christ, and his resurrection to a new life in Christ and for Him.

Section II. The observance of the Lord's Supper is this church's remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for mankind. By partaking of the bread, which represents His broken body, and of the wine, which represents His spilled blood, we are reminded of His love for us. The Lord's Supper shall be observed each Sunday and at such other times as the Minister or Elders deem advisable.

Article V. Membership

Section I. The charter members of this Church shall constitute its initial membership.

Although the Church believes that immersion is the scriptural and proper method of baptism, it recognizes that some churches practice other forms of baptism in the sincere belief that they are also scriptural and proper. In thus accepting as members those from other than immersion, this Church is not compromising its belief that immersion is the scriptural and proper method of baptism but is merely extending to these fellow believers in Christ it's recognition of their right of belief and sincerity of purpose.
